This product is especially helpful for learning and practicing instrument flying procedures. When coupled with virtual ATC like PilotEdge or VatSIM, this provides the most realistic simulation possible. This allows you to develop familiarity with the Garmin 430 interface and controls so you can be better prepared for actual lessons with your CFII.
This unit features it's own 3.5" LCD screen that is used to display the Garmin 430 pop out screen from your flight simulator program.
** This system is NOT compatible with Mac due to driver and screen handling issues with MacOS. This will require a PC to work.

I have not been able to get the device to run until today. the use of the software presents me with big problems . I personally like plug and play and therefore I will sell it. You should think about the software from CP-Flight. Connect the device and put it into operation, ready. MfG. Norbert Werner

I love the realistic feel of this device. However it would be great if they had the panel controls light up. I do night flight training in the dark and unable to see the controls in the dark.

I’ve had the GNS430 for about a month now & I absolutely love it. The tactile feel & keys feel identical to the actual GNS430 & it’s helped me with my Cross-Country flights & general knowledge of the system in the real aircraft. Now that I have it, I cannot fly in the simulator without it. Spot on product. Hats off to RealSimGear for this. I look forward to purchasing other products of this quality in the future.
