This product is especially helpful for learning and practicing instrument flying procedures. When coupled with virtual ATC like SayIntentions.AI, PilotEdge, or VatSIM this provides the most realistic simulation possible. This allows you to develop familiarity with the Garmin GTN750/650 interfaces and controls so you can be better prepared for actual lessons with your CFII.
These units requires 3rd party GTN software such as TDS GTNXi XPlane by TDS Sim Software, or Reality-XP GTN.
* Both software packages make use of the actual Garmin GTN Training software, but the TDS Sim is a bit easier to use and allows for navigation database updates via Navigraph.
