Choose your GCU stack configuration on the left dropdown, and select which throttle option you intend to pair with the console from the right dropdown. Throttles are not included in the console price, but this selection determines whether flap and fuel controls are on the console (Other selection) or if they are on the throttle (RealSimGear Throttle selection).

The ultimate Cirrus home simulator.  The RealSimGear Cirrus Desktop Console provides a complete, self contained home training setup with all key functions represented by actual switches and other hardware.

The console is designed to work with standard, joystick style controllers which are more representative of the Cirrus side stick yoke.  The Logitech throttle quadrant can be fitted to the console to position the throttle in the correct location for a Cirrus aircraft.

When coupled with the RealSimGear / TorqueSim SR22 aircraft there is no better Cirrus simulator available for home use.

Fully enclosed and assembled with internal, dedicated display adapter means there is a single USB 3 and power connection.  This makes it easy to move or store the console when not in use.

No mounting brackets required, the console is stable, included rubber feet protect your desktop.

NOTE: Make sure to select the throttle type you plan to use.  If you choose "Other", the console will have the full ignition/flap/fuel panel in the front.  If you choose "RealSimGear Cirrus Throttle", the console will have only the ignition switch in the front.

** This system is NOT compatible with Mac due to driver and screen handling issues with MacOS.  This will require a PC to work.

So Real its everything but the IFR charts!

I have been a Realsim customer for about 3 years but this is my second setup. This time I wanted a desktop Cirrus G6 console and with the upgraded G6 Perspective plus software to get the sim as close to the real planes I use. It is exactly like the real thing!!! Job well done guys!

Really good, when it works.

5 stars for looking great. 4 stars for quirky setup/software integration 3 stars for not properly explaining the set up, ab initio. TL;DR If you start X-Plane 12 with the Real Sim Gear turned on, X-Plane won’t start. You need to have the system powered off to start X-Plane and then power on the SIM. The SIM is basically a couple of small monitors, so getting them to act as pop up PFD and MFD needs a bunch of actions on the flight sim (including setting up the monitors as 2D displays), and then going over to the Display menu and toggle the PFD MFD displays (w/o Bezel) for it to actually show up. Now all this only really works correctly after you download the SR/SF series plane from TorqueSim. The other ones won’t work correctly. Finally, sometimes when you turn on the SIM gear (especially with all the powering on and off that goes into just getting it set up) I’ve found that the FMS and AFC panel buttons don’t work. Or in some cases the table top section with the switches and flaps don’t work. So it took many tries and at least cumulatively 6-7 hours figure out how to connect everything and set It up to talk to each other. Once everything works though, it’s a pretty sight. However, the SIM is not yet anywhere complete in terms of the software functionality, but it has all the essentials needed for VFR and IFR flights. This system is a fantastic toy. And probably pretty good for practicing setting up IFR flight plans and approaches, and then flying the FD or just letting the AFC do the flying. The XPlane graphics are cool enough where practicing IFR approaches to minimums can provide some level of actual familiarity when flying the real thing. All in all, awesome toy, functional home trainer for practicing IFR flight planning and Approach/Departure procedures. Is it worth $5k?

Great hardware, software is the issue...

The hardware is great, very realistic representation of what is in the actual cockpit. The issue is that there really isn't a good G1000 simulator integrated into Xplane or MSFS. Ideally, the garmin trainer software (which accurately reflects the way the system really works) could be utilized from within Xplane or MSFS. Until someone writes a good plugin for xplane/msfs that accurately simulates the way the cirrus perspective system actually works it feels like the hardware is being underutilized.

Incredibly realistic with fantastic build quality, by far the best sim solution for Cirrus pilots.

I had a little trouble getting the console to fire up with Mac OS Catalina, but the support was excellent, and I was flying in short order! It's a beautiful solution for my home simulator needs, it has everything but the throttle (easy add on with the Logitech quadrant) and connects to my Mac with one USB cable and a power supply, making it easy to move when necessary. This makes my training soo much easier, and realistic. This console will also help me to stay proficient after I get my certificate. Thanks for the excellent product and fast support! Keep up the good work!
