Your RealSimGear sim is more than a set of panels. It’s a PC, a simulator, aircraft add-ons, avionics software, drivers and firmware, all of which need to keep working together. Each of those pieces updates on its own schedule, and one mismatched update can keep you on the ground.

Signature Support exists so you can spend your time flying, not troubleshooting. Here is what it is, what it includes and how to use it.

What is Signature Support?

Signature Support is an annual subscription for RealSimGear equipment and systems. It gives you priority access to our Signature Support technicians, along with ongoing care that keeps your system current.

Every new RealSimGear full system includes Signature Support for the first year. Other systems can add it at the time of purchase. You can buy or renew the subscription for up to five years with your original system purchase.

What’s included

Priority access to our technicians

Subscribers get a dedicated phone line and email that go straight to the Signature Support team, ahead of the general support queue.

Proactive maintenance

We keep your system current, either when you ask or when we reach out to you. That includes:

• →Windows updates and video card drivers
• →Simulator software and aircraft updates
• →RealSimGear hardware firmware and software, such as the RealSimGear plugin
• →Avionics software updates (G2000, G3000, Perspective+)
• →RealSimGear Navigation Database and FAA Charts, on applicable systems
• →Help installing third-party add-ons such as scenery or extra aircraft, up to 2 hours per year

Extended warranty

Your initial one-year warranty on RealSimGear-branded hardware is extended for as long as your subscription is active. If a component fails, we ship the replacement part in advance, so you are not waiting on a return before you can fly again.

Third-party hardware coordination

If a non-RealSimGear part in your sim fails, such as a display, we work with that vendor on your behalf. Repair or replacement decisions remain with the vendor.

Who it’s for

Signature Support is for anyone who wants their sim to stay ready to fly. Plans are priced by how the system is used and which hardware it runs:

• →Home use: a system used mainly by its owner at a private residence.
• →Commercial use: a system used by more than the owner at a non-home location, such as a flight club, flight school or educational facility, or any revenue-generating use.

Additional plan options are listed on our website. Plans renew annually and you can cancel anytime before renewal.

How it works

When you need help, subscribers can contact the Signature Support team directly through their dedicated support channels.

Many issues can be handled through a remote support session, where a technician connects to your system to diagnose and fix the problem. You don’t need to be a PC expert.

We also reach out periodically to apply updates, so your system stays current even when nothing is wrong.
