RealSimGear Lands in Flying Magazine

We’re excited to share that Flying Magazine just published an in-depth feature on our flagship simulator, the SR7x Pro in the November 2025 issue (No. 964).

Written by aviation journalist and private pilot Sean Siff, the article documents his hands-on experience with the SR7x Pro at Mike Goulian Aviation, a Platinum Cirrus Training Center.

“If I were going to begin flying the Cirrus SR22 G7 in the real world, it would be a no-brainer to sit in the SR7x and learn as much as possible before I started burning 100LL.”
Flying Magazine, Nov 2025

Designed for Cirrus. Built to Train.

The SR7x Pro Package is a near-perfect replica of the Cirrus SR Series G7 cockpit. It includes:

  • Dual 14" G2000-style high-res PFD/MFD displays
  • Touchscreen GTC controllers
  • Cirrus-style switch panel with scroll wheel
  • Force-feedback yoke (G7 grip)
  • Realistic CAPS console + ESP system

Everything is modeled to function like the real thing, because it is.

FAA Approved and Loggable

The SR7x Pro meets FAA standards for AATD classification. That means:

  • Log real time toward an instrument and commercial rating
  • Maintain instrument currency
  • CFI's can create custom training scenarios
  • Flight schools can generate revenue and reduce aircraft wear

“Using the SR7x gave me a unique opportunity to take a real lesson from a flight instructor—and log the time in my actual logbook.”

Simulated Emergencies. Real Preparedness.

The article walks through simulated stalls, avionics failures, and a full CAPS deployment. That last one? It left a lasting impression.

“The CAPS deployment was worth the price of admission... as close as I want to get to a real-life situation.”

You can’t do that in a real airplane. But you can in the SR7x.

Trusted by Flight Schools Nationwide

Mike Goulian Aviation was one of the first Cirrus training centers to adopt the SR7x Pro. With a fleet of Cirrus G6 and G7 aircraft, they needed a simulator that matched the cockpit exactly—and they got it.

They’re now using it daily for avionics training, scenario-based lessons, and IFR workflows. And with the built-in Instructor Station, it’s more than a simulator. It’s a full training environment.

Ready to Train Like a Pro?

The SR7x Pro is built for:
