Fall 2025 Update: Major Advancements for OAP G3000 Avionics
We’re excited to announce the Fall 2025 Update for the RealSimGear OAP G3000 avionics suite, available soon to all SFx and SR7x customers with active Signature Support subscriptions.
This release marks one of the biggest steps forward yet for our G3000 simulation platform, introducing powerful new features that make training more immersive, accurate, and true to real-world operation.
What’s New in the Fall 2025 Update
Integrated FAA Charts
For the first time, RealSimGear G3000 avionics now include integrated FAA d-TPP (digital Terminal Procedures Publication) charts directly within the system. Pilots can view geo-referenced approach plates right on the PFD or MFD screens, complete with aircraft position overlay and Sync POF functionality.
This gives you a truly connected training experience. No switching between devices or reference apps. The system handles it just like the real Perspective Touch Plus avionics.
Support for Jeppesen charts is already in development and will be available soon.

New Takeoff Performance Data Page
Flight preparation just got easier and more realistic. The new Takeoff Performance Data page is now part of the initialization process, allowing you to enter and review key takeoff parameters before flight. The workflow mirrors the real aircraft and reinforces proper cockpit procedures.

Enhanced Speed Bugs Interface
A new Speed Bugs page adds on/off and editing modes. When stationary, speed bugs display at the bottom of the airspeed tape for clear visibility. This makes managing V-speeds more intuitive and aligned with Garmin G3000 behavior.
Refinements and Fixes
This update also includes dozens of smaller improvements and performance fixes. Some of the highlights:
- New base page for NAV/COM intercom
- Refinements to SBAS and approach downgrade behavior
- Fixes for corrupted airport caches
- Improved handling of 8.33/25kHz COM spacing
- Fixes for COM/NAV popup behavior and display sync
- (SFx) VNAV arrival constraint behavior tuning
- (SFx) Autothrottle hold mode and FMS constraint updates
- ESP tuning and behavior fixes
- Database handling improvements for waypoints, airways, and airports
- MFD performance and UI scrolling optimizations
Additional fixes cover altitude preselect behavior, glidepath logic, transponder defaults, AHRS fail conditions, engine start behavior, CAS messaging, and UI polish across the system.
Who Gets the Update
The Fall 2025 Update (Update 4) will be rolled out to all SFx and SR7x customers with active Signature Support subscriptions over the coming weeks.
Update Highlights
