February 2025 Update - SR7x & SFx

We are excited to announce the latest update for our G3000 OnBoard Avionics. This latest release is now available for deployment to all current and future SFx and SR7x customers. This update brings substantial improvements, enhanced stability, and refined functionality.

Key Enhancements

  • Flight Plan Visualization & Navigation Improvements
    • Updated flight plan leg drawing for more accurate depiction of the entire flight plan, including Top of Descent/Bottom of Descent markers.
    • New Flight Plan Progress display at the bottom of the Navigation Map, providing VNAV, timing, distance, bearing, and waypoint information.
  • New, fully custom, audio system with enhanced alerts throughout including autopilot disconnect, altitude alerting (200ft, CAPS, minimums, etc.), warnings, and more.
  • Refined User Interface & System Behaviors
    • Improved boot layout for better alignment with the aircraft.
    • Enhanced VNAV performance with refined descent logic.

Bug Fixes & System Enhancements

  • Flight Plan & Navigation Improvements
    • Improved flight plan sequencing and handling of procedures.
    • Fixed formatting of navigation frequencies and waypoint information.
    • Added correct icons for enroute airports on the flight plan display.
    • Adjusted OBS/SUSP behavior.
  • Performance & Display Adjustments
    • Optimized climb performance and turn leg calculations.
    • Fixed graphical overlaps with various display configurations.
    • Improved fuel management alerts, including miscompare and imbalance warnings.
    • Corrected ETE time formatting on the PFD.

Aircraft-Specific Improvements

SFx Enhancements:
  • Adjusted FMS speed profile.
  • Updated checklists to latest revision.
  • Improved takeoff thrust advisory messaging logic.
  • Enhanced auto-throttle disengagement behavior for smoother transitions with the custom RealSimGear SFx throttle with motorized auto-throttle.
SR7x Enhancements:
  • Expanded soft key functionality with better interaction handling.
  • Improved wind gauge options.
  • Calibrated HSI turn rate indicator.
  • Refined integration with SFx hardware for seamless operation when using SR7x aircraft on the SFx platform.
