The RealSimGear G500 is an ultra realistic replica of the real Garmin G500 glass cockpit.  It features backlit rubber buttons with a very accurate tactile feel.  The high brightness screen has a wide view angle display with a built in capacitive touch screen.  The touch screen makes this product a great choice if you want to configure your simulator for a variety of different aircraft types.

Highlighted Features

  • Accurate avionics with detailed menus and configurability.
  • An integration into default Cessna 172 is included, ready to fly, with the download.
  • Already integrated into the TorqueSim BN-2B Islander and BN-2T Turbine Islander - and more integrations are coming.
  • Detailed map views showing the flight plan, terrain, traffic, airspace, airports, airways, highways, cities, and more. Unparalleled custom avionics for X-Plane.
  • Waypoint information page, able to retrieve detailed information about airports, VORs, and more, right from the G500.
  • Integration with the RealityXP GTN and GNS avionics for even more accurate behavior.
  • Helicopter configuration, with flipped displays for right-sided mounting.

This product requires the RealSimGear G500 software, which is an additional purchase.

** This system is NOT compatible with Mac due to driver and screen handling issues with MacOS.  This will require a PC to work.

  • Compatible with X-Plane 11 or 12 (Windows only NO Mac support) (requires the RealSimGear G500 software)
  • Works with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 (MSFS) as a generic touchscreen device, no G500 specific functionality, but can be used to control the G3X or G3000 screens in MSFS
  • G500 unit, including screen and all buttons
  • USB cable
  • Power Pack (110-240V, 12 volt, 2 amps)

Service from Real Sim Gear

Hello, I would like to thank the Real Sim Gear Service Team. Thank you for patiently attending to my special requests. For example, switching my G500 to helicopter view. It was a level of care that I have never experienced from any other company. At RSG, no effort is spared to satisfy the customer. Well done and keep it up. Your G500, converted to a helicopter, leaves nothing to be desired. Thanks again and best regards, Wolfgang.

G500 review

Hello, I would like to share my excitement about the G500 with you. I previously had two G5 devices. They were very good, but the G500 is the absolute highlight. A few little things aren't working the way I want them to, but the technicians at RSG can easily manage that. Thank you for the great device. I've had quite a few night and bad weather flights. Best regards Wolfgang
